Love fiercely and steadily, foster curiosity, value adventure, and above all, cultivate kindness.

The backcountry is a sacred classroom for our family--- it’s where we feel invigorated, at peace, challenged, and are able to grow and bond in a significant way. I believe in nurturing with nature.

Thule, The Catalyst for Family Adventure

Huck and I are thrilled to be joining the Thule ambassador team!  Thule is devoted to getting THE WHOLE family outside together in the most seamless way possible.  Before I had Huck, I was worried that I would lose my adventurous lifestyle. Who would watch the baby while I was out biking, skiing, and hiking? Thule has really opened the door for Huck and I to get outside together. I might not be gaining as much vert as I used to, but the extra training weight (Huck) sure makes the journey sweeter.

We've used Thule products when we've been skiing in the winter, hiking in the spring, traveling during the summer, and biking in the fall. Going on adventures is MUCH easier with the right gear. Cruise over to their website and take a look!

I've highlighted five of my MUST HAVE family products from Thule (links at the bottom).

One.  Two. Three.  Four.  Five.

Sure, I'll be honest with you--- having a family makes getting outside take 30X longer than it used to take. Wrangling a squirmy, tiny, freakishly strong toddler, corralling the endless gear, planning around naps, packing enough snacks... oi. And I'm a fairly "no-fuss" kind of girl (week-old water in my hydration pack is just fine by my standards)! But you know what? We're getting outside together--- and that's really what matters after all.
